Agitated thin-film evaporation
A continuously renewed film reduces thermal exposure.
Lower boiling temperatures protect sensitive products.
Mechanical wiping maintains film movement and renewal.
Glass-shell and PTFE versions scale to larger duties.
Salient features
Wiper geometry, orientation, vacuum and downstream rectification can be selected around the feed and product objective.
Rollers maintain laminar film movement across the evaporator surface.
Overlapping wiping paths limit dead zones, caking and build-up.
Glass and PTFE minimise corrosion and product degradation.
A dedicated condenser is sized for high-vacuum operation.
Flameproof electrical equipment and instrumentation are available.
SCADA control can be supplied for repeatable process management.
Wiping configurations
Viscosity, fouling tendency, residence-time target and product quality determine the wiping and orientation options.
The roller system renews the film continuously and wipes unheated areas to minimise stagnant product and caking.

Blade or spiral-gearing wipers, horizontal construction and vertical co-current agitated thin-film systems are available on request.
