Controlled exothermic dilution
Deliver sulfuric acid at the required concentration and temperature.
Mixing concentrated sulfuric acid with water releases substantial heat and can drive the dilute acid close to its boiling point. Safe, repeatable dilution therefore requires controlled proportioning, an accurate thermal balance and immediate heat removal.
UD Technologies supplies complete skids containing the dilution mixer, pipework, cooling control and safety equipment. Glass, graphite and PTFE are selected around acid concentration and temperature, and the plant can operate continuously for direct battery or IBC filling or as a batch system.
